In fact, anger rises and falls away without our doing anything to make it go away.  We cannot control its arising.  We can only choose whether to develop it and keep it around longer. When we consistently choose not to develop it, it may stop rising up so frequently.  Remember Behavioral theory?  Behavior that is reinforced tends to keep cropping up?</description>
